After discussing they ways to overcome the stressful situation or learn the strategies about how to manage our stress it is compulsory to know that what is stress , types of stress to know which stress condition is good for you and which condition is bad then you should know the causes of stress and most of all you have to know that which symptoms we experienced when we are stressed. After all these knowledge you can able to manage your stress then after that we discussed about steps which help  you to manage stress and how to deal with your stress. So its discussed about stress first.

WHAT IS STRESS?

“A stressful situation is one you cannot cope successfully with, or believe you cannot cope with successfully, resulting in unwanted physical, mental or emotional reactions.”

CAUSES OF STRESS

There are too many causes of stress are prevailing in the world mostly stress occurs when you expect to  much form others or other expect too much from you and you get stressed while meeting those expectation. Man daily responsibilities also create stress in daily routine ,Work Conditions, Competition , Peer Pressure, Job Hunt, Traffic, Extreme Weather, Overwork/Underwork , Terrorism , Death , Brands War,  Uncertainty , Family Issues, Financial Issues and Cultural Issues these are some main conditions that cause stress in life.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL SYMPTOMS

Most of the people don’t know that they are stressed rather they think that they are ill or tired or have to visit a doctor for medical check up I am listed here some physical, mental, emotional and behavioral symptoms which tells a man that he is stressed enough

Physical                                                                      

Headaches , Throbbing heart, Tiredness , Vague aches or pains, Excessive sweating, Frequent colds, flu etc .

Mental

Indecision and muddled thinking , Loss of concentration and worrying , Less sensitive, Persistent negative thoughts

 Emotional

Irritability, More gloomy, depressed,  Drained, no enthusiasm, Cynical , Loss of confidence, De-motivated and Job dissatisfaction. 

Behavioral

Unsociability, Restlessness, Loss of appetite or overeating, Disturbed sleep, Taking work home more, Low productivity, Poor time management

Here I am writing few steps which help stressed people to overcome these stressfull conditiond and live a normal life.

  1. Identify if you are stressed
  2.  Identify the stressor
  3. Identify the reason for the stressor
  4. Select appropriate stress management strategy
  5. Evaluate

DEALING WITH STRESS

First thing while dealing with your stress you have to make your ‘ Internal communication needs to be really strong’  because this is only you who can manage your stress successfully then your religion comes as religion is most important aspect of human life so ‘Pray and strengthen your relationship with God’.

Every person has its own specific  talent so ‘Find your talent (may be singing, painting, poetry) and make your leisure time  worth full  have have some enjoyment while doing that work it will help you a lot to overcome your stress .Make your habit to  ‘Help others in any way you can’ . The best thing in life are friends so ‘Find a friend for co-counseling’ who can motivate you and help u to manage stress.Read good books and write diary because it also help person to manage his stress. There are following some techniques which manage persons stress,

  • Relaxing Exercises
  • Eat healthy
  • Cleaning up
  • Positive perspective on life

Cognitive Approach:

When the dangers are imagined, the most effective way is to change the way you think about the situation

This is called cognitive Approach which most of the psychologist apply to manage stress.

DEPRESSION’ A MONSTER

Every year one out of five adults experience the feeling of depression or anxiety and every one of six individuals fail to prey to depression at some point of time in trial life. Women as demand to men are easy prey to depression thus monster which has a ability to take it’s victm’s life.

Depression is generally defined as feeling of sadness, guilt and loss of interest in life experienced over the span of more than two weeks.

Persistent feeling of grief is also considered a part of depression by doctors.

SYMPTOMS:

  • Depression has a variety of symptoms:
  • Loss of interest in daily work.
  • Depressed  mood.
  • Feeling of despaired, guilt, worthlessness and loneliness.
  • Increase in fruitless activities.
  • Sleeplessness or increase in sleep.
  • Loss of appetite or eating to much.
  • Loss or gain of weight.
  • Desire to end life.
  • Difficulty to focus concentration or feeling tired/fatigued.

HOW TO TREAT IT?

Depression is surely curable throw following ways.

MEDICATION:

Depression can be treated through medication. Doctors prescribe anti depressants to make you feel lighter and to avoid mood disorders. Apart  from medications there are other ways that help to treat depressed mood.

SELF HELP:

A change in life style can help in cure depression, that no one else can do anything for depression Person only the person himself can try to change his condition.

WORK:

Indulgence in healthy and productive work can restrict one to think negatively. Adopting a job of one’s aptitude can help a lot in trending depression.

HOBBY:

Hobbies work wonder when adopted by a depressed person. Reading books, Gardening, Shopping, Watching movies, Listening to good music can help reduce the hours of sadness.

RELIGION:

Religion always provide shelter. Performing the prayers can press all the anxieties to the ‘CREATOR’ and patient feels a relief.

SELF LOVE:

Life is no doubt the most treasuries phenomenon on this earth. Appreciate  is value can surely lessen  the rate of suicide on this earth. Covering the oneself makes the person to care foe his/her life and to make it better.

COMPANY:

Friends, family and relatives play a vital role when it comes to cure depression. A healthy and positive company can help bring anyone out of the ditch of darkness and despaired.

SLEEP:

Sleeping for eight to ten hours can help energize the victim to start a new day with a deal.

HEALTHY EATING HABIT:

Avoid junk food and consuming healthy calories will end positive vibes to the mind.

A person only that person can fight with his depression him self by doing all these activities.
